Audit Senior Manager - Commercial

Location: Washington, DC, United States. Client-facing work may involve meeting clients in person. Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship is required.

Salary: $142,700–$214,030 per year.

What you will do

• Provide industry-focused audit, assurance, and consulting services to commercial clients.
• Engage with clients throughout the year to understand business goals and challenges.
• Develop and implement testing of internal controls and recommend improvements.
• Manage fieldwork, engagement staffing, billing, collections, quality, and timely delivery.
• Provide financial statement guidance, business recommendations, and analytical insight.
• Build client relationships, support business development, and mentor audit professionals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting required; a master's or advanced degree is desirable.
• CPA required.
• Eight or more years of financial statement auditing experience in a professional services firm desired.
• Five or more years of supervisory, mentoring, and counseling experience desired.
• Strong management, analytical, organizational, interpersonal, project management, and communication skills.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
