hirify.globalss="what-you-will-do">What you will do

• Plan, supervise, and control all phases of assurance engagements, primarily for nonprofit and other regulated-industry clients.
• Manage engagement timing, staffing, execution, budgets, deadlines, and client deliverables.
• Lead engagement decisions and communicate progress, facts, conclusions, and recommendations to the Engagement Principal.
• Evaluate internal controls and audit programs, revising them as needed for approval.
• Develop and supervise audit staff through recruiting, assignments, consultation, performance evaluation, and professional development.
• Prepare engagement letters, coordinate client approvals, estimate fees, and lead final client meetings.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 6 years of public accounting experience, including financial statement preparation and audits.
• CPA license certification required.
• Ability to lead high-performing teams, solve issues, and provide practical recommendations.
• Client-focused approach with an interest in helping businesses succeed strategically.
• Ability to work in-office at one of the listed Pennsylvania or Connecticut locations.
