Director of Finance (Healthcare Education)

Location: Chicago, IL, USA; hybrid schedule with four in-office days per week, Monday–Thursday

Salary: $150,171.61–$181,034.70 annually, plus eligibility for an annual incentive program

What you will do

• Lead the institution’s finance function and manage, develop, and support the finance team.
• Develop annual operating budgets, capital budgets, mid-year forecasts, and monthly performance analyses.
• Build financial metrics and models to improve operations, budgeting, forecasting, and investment decisions.
• Lead tuition pricing analysis and provide financial support to campus, online, and home office leaders.
• Deliver the five-year strategic plan with supporting financial detail to the Board of Trustees and executive leadership.
• Establish financial policies, improve processes, and partner with strategy and cross-functional teams on strategic initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field.
• MBA required.
• At least 7 years of financial planning and analysis experience.
• Demonstrated management and supervisory experience, including talent development.
• Strong quantitative, qualitative, written, verbal, leadership, and communication skills.
• Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and secondary research skills, with the ability to synthesize and clearly articulate information.
