Planning & Engineering Business Analyst (Logistics): Gathering and documenting business needs, user stories, and functional specifications for FedEx planning and engineering initiatives with an accent on strategic prioritization, stakeholder engagement, and requirements handover. Focus on supporting UAT, identifying root causes, coordinating with IT, Operations, and Regulatory teams, and driving innovation across European locations.
Location: Hybrid across locations in Portugal, France, Poland, the United Kingdom, Spain, and Ireland; frequent travel of 25% or more to locations in Europe is required.

What you will do
- Gather, validate, and document business needs, user stories, and functional specifications.
- Evaluate business requests against corporate strategy and hand over requirements to development teams.
- Support user-acceptance testing and assist with change management.
- Identify innovation opportunities and take ownership of initiatives through successful completion.
- Partner with IT, Operations, Regulatory, and business stakeholders at different organizational levels.
Requirements
- Strong analytical thinking, root-cause analysis, and strategic prioritization skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across functional groups and hierarchical levels.
- Experience designing and documenting business or system requirements.
- Technology affinity and an innovative mindset.
- Fluent written and spoken English is required for communication with technical and business audiences.
- Willingness to travel 25% or more to locations in Europe.
Nice to have
- Previous exposure to customs clearance and business analysis.
- Education in business administration, business engineering, information technology, business analytics, or a similar field.
- Business Analyst certification or willingness to obtain one.
