Manager - Distribution Services (Logistics)

Location: Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam; onsite distribution and warehouse operations

What you will do

• Prepare and manage the department budget, revenue targets, profitability, credit controls, and collections.
• Develop annual distribution strategy and business plans, operational procedures, SOPs, vendor relationships, and equipment plans.
• Lead sales activities, including customer prospecting, weekly sales calls, quotations, pricing, tailored service proposals, and client presentations.
• Oversee warehouse and distribution operations, inventory accuracy, reporting, safety practices, equipment, and third-party distribution center agreements.
• Maintain customer relationships, conduct retention calls and quality reviews, handle complaints, and improve customer profitability.
• Supervise distribution office and warehouse personnel, assign work, evaluate performance, and coordinate hiring and training.

Requirements

• University degree or equivalent qualification.
• At least 4 years of experience in the forwarding industry or distribution services.
• Proven leadership experience and the ability to supervise office and warehouse personnel.
• Ability to define, develop, and document business processes and procedures.
• Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to work with customers and employees at all levels.
• Computer skills, including the ability to use EDMS and demonstrate Expo.
