Distribution Manager (Operations)

Location: Daytona Beach, Florida, United States; onsite

Salary: $71,000–$108,000 USD base salary annually, plus an annual bonus or role-based sales incentive plan.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end distribution, fulfillment, inventory control, material flow, production support, purchasing, planning, and shipping operations for Springwell.
• Set operating priorities, align resources, resolve execution gaps, and deliver daily, weekly, and monthly performance commitments.
• Build, coach, and develop leadership and associate teams through hiring, training, performance management, succession planning, and accountability.
• Plan labor, capacity, staffing, schedules, equipment, and work assignments around demand and customer priorities.
• Monitor and improve safety, service, productivity, quality, inventory accuracy, fill rate, shipment performance, customer experience, and operating cost.
• Drive continuous improvement, inventory discipline, operational scalability, network planning, and cross-functional execution with supply chain, logistics, finance, HR, safety, and commercial teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, operations, business, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
• At least 7 years of progressive experience in distribution, logistics, supply chain, manufacturing support, materials management, or related operations.
• At least 3 years of leadership experience managing supervisors, team leaders, or cross-functional operational teams in warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or fulfillment environments.
• Experience leading safe operations, OSHA and environmental compliance, inventory control, fulfillment, shipping, receiving, material flow, labor planning, and performance management.
• Working knowledge of WMS, WCS, ERP, SAP, reporting tools, and operational dashboards.
• Strong business acumen, communication, coaching, problem-solving, change leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Lean, TPS, 5S, Kaizen, standard work, or similar continuous improvement methods.
• Experience in automated distribution environments, warehouse slotting, or conveyor systems.
• APICS certification.
