Senior Associate, Trucking & Warehousing Associate

Location: Full-time, on-site role based at the hirify.global Hanoi office, Vietnam; periodic travel to Ho Chi Minh City and occasional visits to trucking, CFS, and warehouse partners in Northern Vietnam.

What you will do

• Coordinate domestic trucking bookings across Vietnam, including EXW pickups, port runs, cross-dock moves, and trucking connected to ocean or air shipments.
• Fulfill trucking, CFS, and storage requests while tracking shipment and warehouse milestones, system updates, and operational KPIs.
• Act as the first point of contact for Hanoi on-site issues, resolving delays, exceptions, and service problems with vendors and warehouse operators.
• Manage trucking, CFS, and warehouse vendors, including onboarding, rate negotiation, performance monitoring, and corrective actions.
• Design SOPs, reports, dashboards, rate databases, and process improvements for trucking, CFS, and warehouse operations.
• Support RFQs, costing, solution design, and client proposals in partnership with the Manager, Product, Ocean/Air, and Demand teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, business, or a related field.
• 3–5+ years of experience in trucking, freight forwarding, warehousing/CFS, or logistics operations, including at least one year of independent ownership.
• Hands-on warehouse and CFS operations experience, including familiarity with Vietnam's domestic trucking and warehousing/CFS market, especially Hanoi and Northern Vietnam.
• Experience creating or improving SOPs and operational reports.
• Comfort with Excel or Google Sheets formulas, macros, basic tools or scripts, and an interest in automation and process improvement.
• Fluent working English is required for calls and written communication with overseas teams.

Nice to have

• Experience setting up or improving CFS workflows.
• Experience with transportation management systems or building simple internal tools.
