Category Manager (Ecommerce)

What you will do

• Analyze industry trends, consumer insights, sales data, platform capabilities, and business strategy to plan category and brand structures.
• Develop sales plans, business objectives, operational timelines, procurement plans, and inventory strategies.
• Research markets and sales channels to source suppliers and brand partners, negotiate commercial terms, and allocate products across channels.
• Manage the supplier lifecycle, including onboarding, performance evaluation, negotiations, contracts, logistics coordination, and after-sales service.
• Manage product operations, pricing, product listings, product content, marketing campaigns, live streaming, and short-video promotion.
• Analyze category and brand performance and develop improvement plans to achieve business objectives.

Requirements

• Experience or capability in category and brand planning, procurement, supplier management, sales planning, or business analysis.
• Ability to analyze market trends, consumer demand, sales performance, and supplier production capacity.
• Ability to negotiate pricing, rebates, contracts, and other commercial terms with suppliers.
• Ability to coordinate product supply, inventory, logistics, pricing, and multi-channel sales operations.
• Work location: Düsseldorf, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.
