Senior Manager, Global Procurement (Apparel)

Location: United States

Base salary: $147,000–$175,000 USD per year. Bonus and equity may also be provided for eligible roles.

What you will do

• Define and execute procurement category strategies, commercial roadmaps, vendor distribution plans, and short- and long-term targets.
• Own end-to-end RFP processes, from vendor identification through award, and negotiate competitive pricing and commercial terms.
• Build and apply component-level clean sheets, approve buy plans, and establish launch and scale costing targets.
• Partner with material managers, sourcing teams, merchandising, production, technology, and Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers.
• Integrate upstream material availability into product development and finished-goods costing.
• Identify value-creation opportunities through verticalization, volume consolidation, and commodity strategies, including a target of 700 bps in product cost reductions over 12 months.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in global procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management in a retail apparel environment.
• Proven experience running competitive RFPs with international manufacturing partners.
• Hands-on experience building and using clean sheets for cost negotiation.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, commercial, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Technical aptitude with AI-powered platforms and LLMs for scenario analysis and procurement automation.
• Bachelor’s degree required; experience in apparel, soft goods, or home goods is strongly preferred.
