Solutions Consultant (Transit)

Location: Remote in Canada, with candidates located anywhere on the East Coast

hirify.global builds fare collection platforms that enable public transport riders to buy and present tickets through mobile phones, ticket machines, or contactless bank cards.

What you will do

• Partner with Business Development on solution strategy and relationships that support successful bids.
• Connect transit agency needs with hirify.global’s open fare collection platform and shape practical solutions.
• Engage technical stakeholders, run product demonstrations, and lead pre- and post-sale discovery workshops.
• Contribute to RFP responses, identify product gaps, and work with Product and Engineering to inform the roadmap.
• Translate agreed solutions into Statements of Work and commercial documentation, then support handover to Delivery.
• Help Product, Engineering, and PMO understand implementation requirements and feed agency insights into product planning.

Requirements

• Experience in technical consulting, solutions engineering, or a product-focused role.
• Working knowledge of APIs, data models, and integration flows.
• Experience contributing to RFPs, Statements of Work, or structured procurement responses.
• Ability to guide diverse stakeholders through complex topics and reach practical solutions.
• Experience with enterprise or public-sector customers in complex environments such as transit, mobility, govtech, or fintech.
• Ability to balance commercial, technical, and delivery considerations while communicating clearly across teams.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with fare collection systems or transit agency environments.
• Experience with third-party hardware or SaaS partner integrations.
• Experience in another regulated, tender-led sector.
• Experience improving documentation, diagrams, or enablement materials.
