Senior Project Engineer (English & German Speaker) (Industrial Automation)

Location: Hybrid role based in Mieres, Asturias, Spain

What you will do

• Plan industrial automation projects for airport and port environments, including boarding bridge and vessel/aircraft docking guidance solutions.
• Coordinate departments, project technicians, material resources, and human resources to deliver projects.
• Represent client requirements internally and communicate company commitments to clients.
• Control project scope, revenues, costs, timelines, contractual requirements, and financial progress.
• Identify project risks, respond to unforeseen events, and supervise changes to the supply scope.
• Detect inefficient processes and procedural deficiencies, and drive operational improvements.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of experience as a project manager in an international capital-goods manufacturing company or in large-project management.
• University degree at bachelor’s or master’s level, preferably specializing in Industrial Engineering.
• C1 English or equivalent required.
• Intermediate conversational German is required for stakeholder interaction.
• Strong communication and cross-functional coordination skills.
• Knowledge of planning tools such as Primavera and MSP.

Nice to have

• Training in PMP and/or project management.
