Payroll Manager - Team Leader (Spanish Payroll)

Location: Hybrid in Granada or Madrid, Spain; CET role. Workation abroad is available for up to 4 weeks per year where hirify.global has a legal entity.

What you will do

• Manage payroll service launches, including procedures manuals and payroll schedules.
• Coordinate client service delivery and act as the primary contact for service follow-up.
• Monitor local client relationships and corporate-level activities for international companies.
• Provide expert guidance to payroll consultants on government procedures, labor regulations, and payroll optimization.
• Track billing for assigned clients and process purchase orders for additional services.

Requirements

• At least 15 years of experience in payroll administration and Spanish labor law.
• At least 3 years of experience in a comparable leadership or managerial role.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage client relationships.
• Strong analytical, decision-making, prioritization, conflict-resolution, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Spanish and English proficiency are essential.
• Assertive, resilient, collaborative, and effective under pressure, with excellent communication skills.

• Experience with Integrho and SAP.
