TL;DR
Finance and Accounting Manager (US GAAP, IFRS, UK GAAP): Overseeing financial reporting, general ledger integrity, statutory compliance, and internal controls in a complex project-based and contracting environment with an accent on audit readiness, governance, and accurate close processes. Focus on leading accounting teams, reconciling complex balance sheet accounts, improving accounting workflows, and supporting compliance across US and UK standards.
Location: Leatherhead, Surrey, United Kingdom; hybrid with 3 days in the office. The role requires a minimum of five years' continuous UK residency and compliance with nationality requirements for the relevant security clearance.

is a global engineering, technology, and government solutions organization undergoing the planned spin-off of its Government Solutions business into Trinzic.
What you will do
- Oversee accurate financial records, general ledger activity, and compliance with US and UK regulatory standards.
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Lead accounting professionals and provide remote guidance and oversight to the Chennai team.
- Analyse complex balance sheet accounts, resolve discrepancies, and maintain reliable financial information.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, corporate leadership, and internal and external auditors.
- Improve accounting policies, procedures, internal controls, and financial transparency through cross-functional initiatives.
Requirements
- Qualified Accountant with ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent certification.
- Experience in a matrix organization and project-based or contracting environment.
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience, including remote collaboration.
- Strong financial data analysis and reporting skills in Excel.
- Deep knowledge of accounting principles, US GAAP, UK GAAP, IFRS, and SOX compliance.
- Experience with audit processes and financial ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, or Costpoint.
