Senior Category Management Executive - Indirect (Healthcare)

Location: Hybrid role requiring three days per week in the office at Irving, TX; Chicago, IL; Centennial, CO; or Cape Girardeau, MO. Willingness to travel is required.

Estimated hiring range: $88,900–$155,500 annually, plus incentive eligibility.

What you will do

• Develop and execute category strategies for assigned indirect product and service categories.
• Manage sourcing initiatives from opportunity identification through implementation.
• Conduct category, market, supplier, utilization, and spend analyses to develop sourcing recommendations.
• Collaborate with clinicians, physicians, sourcing representatives, value analysis leaders, suppliers, and operational stakeholders.
• Support RFIs, RFPs, supplier evaluations, negotiations, contract development, and implementation planning.
• Use approved AI tools for research, analysis, stakeholder communications, and summarization while validating outputs for accuracy and business relevance.

Requirements

• Five or more years of relevant experience in strategic sourcing, category management, supply chain, consulting, healthcare operations, contracting, or a related field.
• Experience supporting sourcing initiatives, supplier negotiations, or category management activities.
• Strong analytical skills using spend, utilization, supplier, and market data.
• Strong relationship-building, collaboration, project management, written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Relevant degree preferred.
• Ability to work in the office three days per week at one of the listed U.S. locations and willingness to travel.

• Healthcare, group purchasing, consulting, or highly regulated industry experience.
• Demonstrated AI fluency, including critical evaluation of AI-generated content and identification of limitations or inaccuracies.
