Junior Legal Counsel (Cybersecurity)

Location: Based at the Basingstoke office, United Kingdom, with flexibility to work from the London office and occasional home-working by agreement. Occasional travel to other Nomios offices in Europe may be required.

What you will do

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts with customers, suppliers, partners, resellers, and vendors.
• Provide day-to-day legal support to UK&I commercial and operational stakeholders.
• Support employment law, UK GDPR, data protection, and corporate matters.
• Monitor UK&I legal and regulatory developments and communicate relevant implications.
• Contribute to group-wide policies, contract templates, legal technology initiatives, and process improvements.
• Support M&A and integration projects, including due diligence and post-completion matters.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in a legal role, such as trainee solicitor, paralegal, or junior in-house counsel.
• Degree in Law or an equivalent legal qualification.
• Grounding in English commercial contract law and interest in developing expertise across employment, privacy, and corporate matters.
• Pragmatic, commercially minded approach with confidence engaging business stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong organisation, attention to detail, ability to manage competing priorities, and a proactive collaborative approach.

Nice to have

• Interest in IT, cybersecurity, or the wider technology sector.
• Additional European language skills.
