Verification Engineer (ASIC)

What you will do

• Own ASIC and SoC verification environments from planning through sign-off.
• Translate architectural and system requirements into verification strategies, test plans, and measurable completion criteria.
• Build reusable testbenches, reference models, stimulus, scoreboards, and other scalable verification components.
• Drive verification closure through coverage, assertions, regression results, risk assessment, and design reviews.
• Debug complex hardware and software issues, resolve specification ambiguities, and collaborate with architecture, RTL design, software, implementation, infrastructure, and trading teams.
• Develop automation, CI, regression infrastructure, and tooling to improve verification productivity and reliability.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of design verification experience on complex ASIC or SoC projects.
• Experience creating verification plans, building verification environments, and driving metric-based sign-off.
• Strong programming and HDL development skills with SystemVerilog and Python, plus proficiency in C/C++.
• Solid understanding of digital design principles, hardware behavior, corner cases, trade-offs, and systematic debugging.
• Ability to turn evolving requirements into clear, testable specifications and communicate effectively across disciplines.
• Degree in electrical or electronic engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or a related discipline.

Nice to have

• Experience with UVM, cocotb, assertion-based verification, or formal verification tools and techniques.
• Experience developing front-end ASIC tooling, verification infrastructure, or engineering workflows.
• Familiarity with processor architectures, assembly language, and embedded software development.
