Legal Counsel (Web3)

Location: London, UK (Hybrid); London location preferred.

hirify.global is developing an institutional real-world-assets platform in Web3 focused on tokenized funds and investment products.

What you will do

• Support implementation of the legal and compliance strategy, regulatory licensing applications, filings, entity administration, legal records, contracts, and risk registers.
• Assist with regulatory and compliance matters across jurisdictions including Singapore and the Cayman Islands, including acting as compliance officer for regulated entities.
• Work with Product, Engineering, and Marketing to support compliant launches of tokenized investment funds and structured products.
• Draft, review, and support negotiation of commercial contracts, NDAs, partnership agreements, fund administration agreements, IMAs, side letters, and service-provider arrangements.
• Support corporate governance, employment documentation, intellectual property matters, legal templates, playbooks, GDPR compliance, privacy documentation, and internal policies.

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer with 3–5 years of experience.
• Experience in financial regulation, including areas such as AIFMD or MiFID, and cross-border licensing.
• Exposure to fund structures and investment product design.
• Good understanding of corporate law.
• Comfort working with innovative products and related challenges in fast-paced, evolving regulatory environments.
• Proactive, hands-on, solutions-driven approach, integrity, strong accountability, excellent communication, strong writing skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and within a remote-first organization.
• Interest in Web3, tokenized finance, and the evolution of decentralized systems.

Nice to have

• 1–2 years of private-practice experience and 1–2 years of in-house experience, ideally in mid-size firms or start-ups, including small hedge funds or fund management companies.
• Exposure to fintech, Web3, digital assets, token launches and investments, and tokenization.
• Experience with regulatory or data-privacy matters.
• London, UK location.
• Public examples of building or advising on regulatory work and experience handling a significant legal or regulatory challenge.
