CNC Machinist - 2nd Shift

Location: Aurora, Ohio, USA; onsite, 2nd shift Monday–Thursday, 3:00 p.m.–1:00 a.m.

Sign-on bonus: $1,500, paid as $750 after 90 days and the remainder after 180 days.

What you will do

• Program, set up, and operate CNC machines using G-code and conversational programming.
• Study work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, material specifications, and machining parameters.
• Load raw materials, verify machine setups, and measure first-run parts for compliance with standards.
• Perform drilling, grooving, cutting, turning, and facing operations while monitoring part specifications.
• Troubleshoot machine malfunctions, adjust programs, replace worn tools, and maintain equipment and records.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Machining Technology or a related field plus three years of CNC machining experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency in CNC programming, G-code, conversational programming, blueprint interpretation, and GD&T.
• Experience with dimensional measuring tools, geometric calculations, tool compensation, and CNC machining software.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English verbally and in writing.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 75 pounds occasionally and 25 pounds frequently, and perform fine motor tasks.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with PPE, airborne graphite dust, and moderate background noise.

Nice to have

• Experience with FANUC controls, Haas mill or lathe machining, and CMM equipment.
