Software Engineer

Location: Hybrid; applicants who reach the offer stage may be asked to attend an in-person interview at a hirify.global office or hub.

What you will do

• Architect, build, and maintain scalable services, APIs, and tools for infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and runtime operations.
• Develop internal platforms and self-service tools that reduce operational toil and help engineering teams manage resources safely.
• Apply modular design, code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD practices to infrastructure codebases.
• Build observability frameworks, testing pipelines, and self-healing tools to improve availability and detect operational failures.
• Collaborate with Security, Systems, and Product Engineering teams across the application lifecycle.

Requirements

• Experience building production software, particularly backend systems, APIs, or developer platform tools.
• Strong proficiency in a modern programming language such as Go, Python, Java, or Rust.
• Knowledge of software design patterns, REST or gRPC API architecture, and data structures.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code frameworks such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and systems troubleshooting skills.
• Offers may be conditioned on authorization to receive technology controlled under U.S. export laws without sponsorship for an export license.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, Kubernetes, or Docker.
• Experience building CI/CD systems, automated integration testing, or continuous deployment tooling.
• Contributions to open-source developer tools, CLI applications, or infrastructure platforms.
