Global Operations Associate (Logistics)

What you will do

• Manage end-to-end import and export freight shipments, including intermodal movements, across a regional network.
• Ensure shipments move on time, handle exceptions proactively, and maintain clear communication with clients.
• Coordinate daily operations with carriers, vendors, customs, trade-lane managers, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Resolve client issues, develop solutions independently, and escalate complex cases when needed.
• Track KPIs and SLAs, follow standard operating procedures, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.
• Use data and operational tools to identify patterns, control costs, and support partner autonomy.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree or completed professional training as a forwarding agent.
• At least 2 years of experience in operations, logistics, or freight forwarding.
• Mandatory Danish and fluent English.
• Strong time management, attention to detail, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication, teamwork, and relationship-building abilities.
• Ability to adapt to new technology, work in a fast-paced environment, follow best practices, and maintain a compliance-first approach.
