Senior Specialist Logistics (Pharmaceutical Logistics)

Location: Boulder, Colorado, United States; travel to other company locations, storage facilities, and contract manufacturing organizations may be required up to 10% of the time.

Salary: $83,400–$127,500 base compensation annually, plus bonus eligibility and potential long-term incentives.

What you will do

• Serve as the primary contact for domestic logistics activities at the Boulder site.
• Coordinate end-to-end shipments of research materials, raw materials, drug substances, and drug products.
• Prepare shipment documentation and monitor milestones including departure, arrival, customs clearance, and proof of delivery.
• Manage outsourced inventory and support continuous improvement initiatives with contract manufacturing organizations and warehouses.
• Investigate logistics errors and non-conformances, coordinating corrective and preventive actions with Quality Assurance and other departments.
• Analyze shipping costs, courier performance, temperature-controlled transportation, and logistics quality metrics.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university and 2+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or related industry.
• Experience with import/export requirements, customs processes, HTS classification, material valuations, Incoterms, and trade compliance.
• Knowledge of logistics procedures and familiarity with CFR regulations applicable to pharmaceutical and raw materials.
• Strong organization, communication, presentation, customer service, influencing, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work independently and cross-functionally with Supply Chain, CMC, Quality, Finance, and R&D teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• CPIM, CLTD, or CSCP certification.
• Experience with global logistics responsibilities.
