Desktop and Digital IT Lead, Germany Technology Center (AI)

Location: Bad Homburg vor der Hohe, Germany; onsite

What you will do

• Provide day-to-day support for desktop, laptop, mobile, meeting-room, collaboration, printing, and workplace technologies.
• Manage incidents, service requests, software installation, hardware deployment, asset lifecycles, inventory, audits, logistics, and refresh programs.
• Act as the local liaison between business users, engineering teams, and global IT support organizations.
• Identify and lead digitalization, automation, data analytics, and operational-excellence initiatives across engineering, project delivery, and business operations.
• Drive adoption of AI solutions, including Microsoft Copilot, and support digital tools, dashboards, reporting applications, workflows, and data repositories.
• Provide training, coaching, and change-management support for digital tools, engineering applications, and AI solutions.

Requirements

• Experience supporting desktop, mobile, workplace, and local IT infrastructure environments.
• Experience with incident management, service requests, hardware deployment, asset management, and equipment logistics.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity requirements, corporate IT standards, technology governance, and compliance procedures.
• Ability to lead digitalization, automation, data management, analytics, and AI initiatives.
• Experience supporting engineering software applications, licensing, data repositories, collaboration platforms, dashboards, or reporting tools.
• Onsite work in Bad Homburg vor der Hohe, Germany.
