A/V Support Specialist (Audio Visual)

Location: On-site in Stuttgart, Germany; less than 10% travel expected.

Salary: $110,000–$125,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Design, install, operate, maintain, and enhance A/V control systems, VTC systems, IPTV networks, and related infrastructure.
• Support conference rooms, executive suites, desktop conferencing solutions, and command-level technical systems.
• Program, service, and troubleshoot integrated platforms including Crestron, AMX, Vaddio, Tesira, Extron, and Cisco.
• Support C5ISR systems, networking, voice communications, satellite communications, and networked communication equipment.
• Install, test, splice, terminate, and repair CAT6 and fiber optic cabling.
• Collaborate with senior military personnel, customers, and technical teams.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship and an active Department of Defense Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility are required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science from an ABET-accredited or CAE-designated institution.
• At least three years of experience in computer networking and A/V communications installation and support.
• Current Cloud+, GICSP, SSCP, Security+, or GSEC certification; accepted higher-level certifications include CASP+, CCNA, CCNP Security, and CCSP.
• Experience with Cisco VTC, fiber optic and structured cabling, and platforms such as Crestron, AMX, Tesira, Extron, and IPTV.
• Strong communication, technical problem-solving, teamwork, and systematic working skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Netgear and Cisco managed switches, DNS, DHCP, multicast, and network security.
• Experience with Windows Server, SharePoint, Exchange, Linux, VMware, Cisco Unified Communications, or Call Manager.
• Current or eligible ECOPS/TESA Technical Expert Status.
• Advanced certifications such as CASP+.
