Digital and IT Infrastructure Manager (IT Infrastructure)

Location: Bremen, Germany; remote work and flexible working hours are offered.

Salary: €75,000–€85,000 per year, depending on profile and experience.

What you will do

• Define the strategy, architecture, specifications, and evolution of the global IT infrastructure.
• Manage the lifecycle and operational availability of computers, phones, printers, industrial devices, servers, storage, and virtual desktops.
• Design and operate network infrastructure, including topology, VPNs, NAC, firewalls, ISP contracts, monitoring, and maintenance.
• Ensure robust backup, restore, business continuity, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Act as deputy to the Director of Digital Operations, supporting governance, team leadership, budgeting, resource allocation, and strategic planning.
• Manage vendors, contracts, risks, helpdesk operations, incident management, KPIs, SLAs, applications, ERP systems, and software licenses.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science.
• More than five years of experience in infrastructure management and senior leadership.
• Strong knowledge of network topology, Windows and Linux server administration, virtualization, databases, scripting, cybersecurity standards, and hardware lifecycle management.
• Experience managing budgets, KPIs, strategic roadmaps, and IT operations.
• Technical experience with SQL, Crystal Reports, web services, PHP or Python, VMware, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• English proficiency at C1 level or higher is required.

Nice to have

• French or German proficiency.
• Experience with ITIL or similar IT service management frameworks.
• Knowledge of ISO 27001.
