Okta Services Architect (IAM)

Location: Remote, Canada

Salary: CAD 145,000–160,000 base salary per year, plus eligibility for a bonus program.

What you will do

• Lead discovery sessions and gather business, functional, and technical requirements.
• Design and architect enterprise IAM solutions using Okta.
• Translate customer requirements into scalable, secure identity architectures and governance frameworks.
• Define Statements of Work, solution scope, delivery approaches, and technical best practices.
• Guide delivery teams, conduct architecture reviews and customer health checks, and drive ongoing optimization.
• Collaborate with Sales, Professional Services, customers, and senior stakeholders on solutioning and implementation.

Requirements

• Okta Certified Architect or Okta Consultant certification is mandatory.
• 8+ years of experience in IT, solution architecture, or software development.
• 4+ years of experience in IAM architecture and design, including Okta-based solutions.
• 5+ years of consulting experience with enterprise customers.
• Strong knowledge of SSO, MFA, RBAC, OAuth, OpenID Connect, LDAP, Active Directory, cloud platforms, and enterprise integrations.
• Experience leading discovery workshops, defining technical solutions, managing stakeholders, and communicating with business audiences.

Nice to have

• Experience with Ping, SailPoint, Saviynt, or Microsoft Identity.
• Knowledge of security architecture, cryptography, and Zero Trust principles.
• Experience with distributed systems, application architecture, programming, DevOps tools, and version control systems.
• TOGAF, CISSP, or similar certifications.
