OCI Solutions Architect

Location: 100% remote within the United States

Salary: $100,000–$150,000 annually

What you will do

• Architect, deploy, and operate enterprise OCI landing zones, compartments, tenancy structures, and governance frameworks.
• Design OCI networking, compute, storage, database, Kubernetes, and disaster-recovery architectures.
• Build infrastructure-as-code with Terraform and OCI Resource Manager, including version control, peer review, and automated validation.
• Implement IAM, federation, security controls, observability, incident response, and ongoing cost optimization.
• Build CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and applications using OCI DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
• Advise application teams, develop automation in Python and Bash, and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States and authorized to work in the U.S.
• At least 5 years of cloud engineering experience, including strong hands-on OCI experience; 6+ years are specified for the position.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Production experience with Terraform, OCI compute, networking, storage, identity, databases, and OKE.
• Experience with CI/CD, cloud security, IAM, compliance, observability, incident response, troubleshooting, and documentation.

Nice to have

• Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect Professional certification.
• Experience with Exadata Cloud or Autonomous Database at scale.
• Exposure to multi-cloud architectures across OCI and AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with FinOps and regulated OCI workloads.
