Group Head of Finance (Legend)

What you will do

• Lead a 25+ person, multi-location finance function covering financial reporting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, treasury, and payroll.
• Evolve the finance operating model by strengthening controls, accountability, process ownership, systems, and data flows.
• Redesign, standardise, simplify, and automate core finance processes and systems.
• Establish SLAs, controls, KPIs, and data-driven continuous improvement practices.
• Lead post-acquisition integration across reporting, controls, systems, data, and ways of working.
• Develop finance leaders, allocate resources across operational and transformation work, and advise senior stakeholders across Legend and hirify.global.

Requirements

• ACA, ICAS, or ACCA qualification with significant post-qualified experience in senior finance leadership.
• Experience leading a sizeable, multi-functional finance team across disciplines, locations, and jurisdictions.
• Strong operational knowledge of financial reporting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, treasury, and payroll.
• Proven experience transforming and scaling finance functions through process redesign, automation, systems improvement, controls, governance, and process ownership.
• Strong finance systems capability, including translating operational requirements into systems design; ERP implementation experience is required, with Workday experience advantageous.
• Experience leading organisational change, acquisition integration, or work within a larger group finance structure, together with strong stakeholder management and commercial judgement.

• 60-minute interview with the Finance Director and Senior People Partner via Zoom.
• Take-home task and presentation with the Finance Director, Head of FP&A, and Executive Director, conducted via Zoom or in the London office.
