Finance Manager UK & Ireland (Finance/Accounts Receivable): Leading financial management, business partnering, and Accounts Receivable operations for the UK and Ireland Service business with an accent on branch performance, working capital, credit risk, and financial control. Focus on improving cash collection, shaping credit processes, managing complex disputes, and delivering forecasting, reporting, and operational insight.
Location: Ashby De La Zouch, United Kingdom; responsibility across the UK and Ireland with periodic travel.

What you will do
- Lead finance activities for a portfolio of UK and Ireland branches, including month-end reporting, reconciliations, management accounts, and financial controls.
- Partner with Branch Managers on P&L reviews, forecasting, budgeting, annual planning, and performance improvement.
- Develop KPI reporting and Power BI dashboards covering profitability, productivity, utilisation, and operational performance.
- Lead the Accounts Receivable function across UK and Ireland entities and manage a team of four.
- Improve cash collection, debtor management, credit risk controls, working capital forecasting, and customer payment processes.
- Own the annual Credit Policy, approve credit limits and payment terms, and manage complex disputes and escalations.
Requirements
- Fully qualified ACCA or CIMA accountant.
- At least five years of relevant experience in finance, management accounting, or financial control.
- Experience leading and developing teams, with strong commercial and business partnering skills.
- Experience with forecasting, budgeting, month-end reporting, financial analysis, Accounts Receivable, credit management, and working capital processes.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools.
- Willingness to travel periodically across the UK and Ireland.
