TL;DR
Head of Financial Reporting (IFRS): Leading group-wide financial reporting, compliance, audit delivery, and financial control improvements for a listed global ecommerce group with an accent on IFRS reporting, governance, and cross-functional stakeholder management. Focus on preparing technical accounting papers, managing the Group audit, automating finance processes, and directing a team of five.

What you will do
- Lead group-wide financial reporting compliance, project planning, and delivery across workstreams.
- Prepare technical management papers covering accounting decisions for the Board and Audit Committee.
- Act as the key auditor contact and lead delivery of the Group audit, interim reporting, and other reporting requirements.
- Review and deliver high-quality financial statements compliant with IFRS.
- Improve Group financial controls and lead technology implementation to automate and transform finance processes.
- Manage, mentor, and develop a team of five while building relationships with commercial, FP&A, legal, tax, treasury, investor relations, and senior leadership teams.
Requirements
- Qualified Accountant with ACA or ACCA qualification and 5+ years of post-qualified experience.
- Strong understanding of accounting and auditing principles, with substantial IFRS technical accounting experience.
- Experience with financial controls frameworks, process best practices, and fast-paced environments.
- Experience in large corporate or listed businesses is preferred.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, planning, organizational, and project management skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines, build professional networks, and confidently work with senior stakeholders.
