Group Head of Finance (Legend)

What you will do

• Lead a 25+ person, multi-location finance function covering financial reporting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, treasury, and payroll.
• Evolve the finance operating model, including organisational structure, process ownership, systems, controls, and ways of working.
• Redesign and optimise finance processes and systems, standardising, simplifying, and automating workflows.
• Establish SLAs, controls, KPIs, and data-driven continuous improvement practices.
• Lead post-acquisition integration across reporting, controls, systems, data, and finance processes.
• Develop finance leaders, allocate resources across operational delivery and transformation, and advise senior stakeholders.

Requirements

• ACA, ICAS, or ACCA qualification with significant post-qualified experience in senior finance leadership.
• Experience leading sizeable, multi-functional finance teams across multiple disciplines, locations, and jurisdictions.
• Strong operational knowledge of financial reporting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, treasury, and payroll.
• Demonstrated success transforming and scaling finance functions through process redesign, automation, systems improvement, controls, and governance.
• Finance systems and ERP transformation experience; Workday experience is advantageous.
• Experience leading teams through organisational change, acquisition integration, or work within a larger group finance structure.

• Experience with Workday or significant ERP implementation and transformation programmes.
• Experience integrating an acquired finance function into a larger parent or group structure.
