hirify.global is supporting a growing organisation with strategic and operational finance leadership needs.

What you will do

• Lead annual budgeting, regular forecasting, and a rolling three-year financial forecast.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and performance reporting, analysing trends, variances, risks, and opportunities.
• Provide financial business partnering, advice, and constructive challenge to the CEO, SLT, Trustees, budget holders, and non-finance managers.
• Oversee the day-to-day finance function, including ledgers, banking, cash receipts and payments, reconciliations, expenses, credit cards, and payroll journals.
• Strengthen financial awareness, accountability, controls, governance, risk management, and compliance.
• Ensure compliance with charity accounting, taxation, charity SORP, UK accounting standards, and VAT requirements.

Requirements

• Significant senior finance experience, ideally in a complex, multi-site, or growing organisation.
• Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, management accounts, financial analysis, and financial planning.
• Experience partnering with senior leaders and non-finance managers.
• Experience leading, managing, and developing a finance team.
• Strong understanding of financial controls, governance, risk, compliance, and VAT.
• Experience with statutory accounts and external audit processes.
