Head of Financial Reporting (Insurance)

Location: Hybrid working in Dorking, Surrey, UK — 3 days in the office and 2 days from home

What you will do

• Lead statutory financial reporting under UK GAAP for hirify.global UK and its subsidiaries.
• Oversee Solvency II regulatory reporting, including QRTs, SFCR and RSR submissions.
• Lead US GAAP reporting to hirify.global Group and provide high-quality financial insight.
• Maintain the financial control framework and support Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and Finance governance.
• Drive automation, efficiency, continuous improvement and enhanced controls across reporting processes.
• Manage external auditor relationships, support senior stakeholders and lead a high-performing reporting team.

Requirements

• Recognised accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent, with significant post-qualification experience.
• Strong financial reporting experience in Financial Services, Insurance or a similarly regulated environment.
• Detailed knowledge of UK GAAP, US GAAP, statutory reporting and financial control frameworks.
• Knowledge of Solvency II and broader financial regulatory reporting requirements.
• Experience leading reporting teams, developing employees, managing senior stakeholders and overseeing complex audit programmes.
• Strong financial systems, analytical, communication, problem-solving and organisational skills, with attention to detail.
