Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Westminster, Colorado, United States; in-office 4 days per week

Salary: $144,600–$198,800 per year

What you will do

• Design and launch conversational agents, RAG platforms, and automated workflows for customer and enterprise operations.
• Architect backend microservices and Model Context Protocol integrations with enterprise SaaS and data platforms.
• Build deterministic tool workflows, agent collaboration models, and safe response behaviors for high-stakes business functions.
• Implement evaluation-as-code, regression testing, and production observability for model accuracy, reliability, and latency.
• Partner with product, platform, and security teams to identify automation opportunities and deliver scalable products.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience, focused on production backend or platform development.
• Strong Python skills, including asynchronous programming, API development with FastAPI, Flask, or Django, and structured data modeling.
• Hands-on experience with LLM applications, RAG pipelines, conversational systems, and tool-calling agents.
• Experience with REST, OAuth 2.0, webhooks, and enterprise SaaS integrations.
• Experience with CI/CD, Docker, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, and cloud deployments.
• Availability to work in the Westminster office 4 days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience with MCP, FastMCP, LangGraph, or CrewAI.
• Experience with vector search engines, knowledge graphs, Salesforce, or Contentful.
• Experience with LLM evaluation frameworks such as Ragas, DeepEval, promptfoo, or LangSmith, and AI security guardrails.
