Quality Assurance Engineer (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Linkou, Taiwan; onsite at the hirify.global Linkou Factory.

What you will do

• Lead cross-functional resolution of material quality issues to support smooth and efficient production.
• Evaluate process performance and identify problem-solving, improvement, and quality-control opportunities.
• Analyze root causes, coordinate containment and corrective actions, and prevent recurrence.
• Lead internal and external ISO 9001 process and system audits, including action tracking and improvement follow-up.
• Act as a Supplier Lead Auditor, identifying supplier risks, verifying mitigations, and driving improvements across the supply chain.
• Collaborate with Supplier Network Management, Production Engineering, Development and Engineering, and Manufacturing teams.

Requirements

• BSc or MSc in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electronics, applied physics, or a comparable field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in a high-tech manufacturing environment, with a focus on quality engineering and reporting.
• Experience with quality auditing, preferably in the semiconductor industry.
• Experience in supplier management, manufacturing, logistics, or development and engineering.
• Broad knowledge of quality tools, including SPC, TQM, FMEA, 8-D, and Gauge R&R.
• Well-developed English speaking, reading, and writing skills are required.
