Technical Office Engineer (Test Packages) (Oil & Gas)

What you will do

• Develop detailed piping test packages using P&IDs, isometric drawings, line lists, project documentation, and ADNOC specifications.
• Review drawings, specifications, test boundaries, and package readiness for pressure testing.
• Coordinate with construction and QA/QC teams to confirm installation, welding, NDT, inspections, and approvals are complete.
• Maintain master test package registers and submit complete packages with certified pressure charts, calibration records, and inspection sheets.
• Track punch closure and support mechanical completion certification and system handover.
• Resolve technical queries and site execution challenges related to piping components, test limits, and documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• 4–6 years of experience in a similar technical office or test package role.
• Experience with piping pressure testing methodologies, test boundary isolation, system turnover, QA/QC, NDT, inspections, and completion handovers.
• Strong knowledge of piping codes and standards, including ASME B31.3, and hydrotesting procedures.
• Ability to interpret P&IDs, isometric drawings, and engineering documentation, with strong coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent spoken and written English is essential.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with completion software such as Co-console.
• Experience on large-scale oil and gas projects in the Middle East with major operators or EPC contractors.
