GIS Commissioning Engineer

What you will do

• Manage GIS installation, testing, and commissioning activities through project close-out.
• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary GIS installation teams on site.
• Prepare project schedules and method statements to support efficient, high-quality execution.
• Communicate proactively with customers and stakeholders to improve satisfaction.
• Promote EHS standards and a Zero Harm culture during site activities.
• Develop personnel capabilities and support an inclusive working environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• 5–10 years of experience in high-voltage GIS substation services, including testing and commissioning.
• Strong knowledge of IEC standards and EU F-Gas regulations for SF₆ handling.
• Excellent spoken and written English and Arabic are required.
• Experience with GIS equipment, control circuits, and high-voltage testing methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in critical situations.
