Product Manager – Data Warehouse (AI)

Location: New York, United States; onsite role

Salary: $185,000–$250,000 annual base salary, plus variable compensation and benefits.

What you will do

• Design ETL transformations and data schemas that produce scalable, reliable datasets with strong data quality and integrity.
• Build the API layer for governed data access, including business logic, permissions, interface contracts, and boundary conditions.
• Develop generative AI capabilities for natural-language querying, semantic search, agentic workflows, and insights from unstructured data.
• Partner with reporting, software development, data science, analytics, and human capital stakeholders to define technical solutions and precise requirements.
• Oversee development, testing, rollout, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and operational support for the data product.
• Build detailed knowledge of proprietary and third-party human capital systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher and four to eight years of relevant product management experience.
• Experience designing, implementing, and scaling data and analytics products.
• Proficiency with Excel, SQL, and Python, with strong data analysis and transformation skills.
• Experience working with data engineers, data scientists, and software developers on ETL design, business intelligence infrastructure, or API specifications.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organization, problem-solving, teamwork, ownership, attention to detail, and discretion with confidential information.
• Familiarity with data modeling, data architecture, and data infrastructure is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience with generative AI infrastructure and techniques, including vector databases, retrieval-augmented generation, semantic search, agentic workflows, and natural-language data querying.
