Product Manager, Self-Service Data Platform (AI)

What you will do

• Support the product vision, roadmap, and execution for data platform services, tools, and capabilities.
• Translate business and technical needs into product requirements, prioritized roadmaps, user stories, and measurable outcomes.
• Partner with engineering, data architecture, governance, analytics, security, and business stakeholders to improve data accessibility, reliability, usability, performance, and compliance.
• Use semantic layers, governed metrics, metadata, and ontology concepts to improve terminology, metric consistency, and cross-domain interoperability.
• Enable natural language analytics and AI-powered data experiences using trusted metrics, metadata, semantic context, and governed data definitions.
• Drive adoption through stakeholder engagement, training, documentation, feedback loops, and product success metrics.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of product management experience with data, analytics, AI, developer tooling, or internal platform products.
• Strong understanding of modern data architectures, data modeling, BI concepts, cloud data ecosystems, query engines, compute frameworks, APIs, SDKs, or platform integrations.
• Experience working with engineering, data, analytics, governance, security, and business stakeholders on technically complex products.
• Working knowledge of semantic layers, governed metrics, metadata, ontology concepts, business glossaries, AI/ML, generative AI, LLMs, natural language queries, and responsible AI use.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
• Authorization sponsorship is not available for new applicants.

Nice to have

• Experience with Jupyter Notebooks, Apache Superset, Tableau, Power BI, or similar analytics platforms.
• Exposure to semantic models, metrics layers, ontology modeling, knowledge graphs, metadata management, lineage, catalogs, or governance tools.
• Familiarity with lakehouse architectures, cloud data warehouses, distributed data systems, or enterprise BI ecosystems.
• Previous experience as a software engineer, data engineer, analytics engineer, or technical platform practitioner.
• Experience in regulated industries such as insurance or financial services.
