A/P Accountant

Location: Remote, Philippines; Manila

What you will do

• Process and review bills, expense reports, purchase orders, and other accounts payable transactions.
• Ensure accurate coding, approvals, vendor setup, payment types, and allocations.
• Process payments through Bill.com and external wires, post transactions in NetSuite, and troubleshoot rejected payments.
• Reconcile vendor accounts, prepare aging reports, maintain ledgers, and support monthly and year-end close.
• Review global payments, bank transactions, manual payments, and reclasses.
• Respond to vendor and internal payment inquiries and help improve accounts payable processes and controls.

Requirements

• 4–6 years of experience in an accounting department with accounts payable experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work remotely from the Philippines.

Nice to have

• Experience with NetSuite, Tropic, or Bill.com.
