Supply Network Specialist II (Procurement)

Location: Xuzhou, Jiangsu, China; onsite five days a week

What you will do

• Process requisitions and support purchasing, sourcing, pricing analysis, and contract or purchase order generation.
• Develop improvement plans for buyers and procurement professionals across response time, quality, cost, logistics, development, and management targets.
• Analyze and maintain assigned procurement processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide pricing information and supplier selection support for customers and proposal activities.
• Perform analytical and administrative work for purchasing strategic initiatives.

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent experience is desired.
• Knowledge of data-driven decision-making, analytical techniques, root-cause analysis, and solution development.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of project management, procurement policies, purchasing procedures, and logistics management.
• Experience with a procurement system and the ability to use tools for buying goods, equipment, services, and materials.
• Ability to work onsite in Xuzhou, Jiangsu, five days per week.

Nice to have

• EDI enablement using X12 or EDIFACT.
• IBM WebForms, VAN, SFTP, and transaction formats including 856, 810, DESADV, INVOIC, and SP20 labels.
• Root-cause and corrective-action experience.
• Experience with Sterling Integrator and basic ERP integration.
