Location: Billerica, Massachusetts, United States; domestic and international travel required, up to 40–50%

Salary: $84,000–$115,500 per year

What you will do

• Learn new semiconductor tools, chambers, and mainframes during NPI and prepare technical course materials.
• Deliver classroom, hands-on, and factory on-the-job training for internal staff and customers.
• Lead multiple NPI training development projects and coordinate project team members.
• Develop and maintain hardware training guides, procedures, schematics, and customized customer materials.
• Provide technical troubleshooting, equipment maintenance, safety oversight, and system support.
• Coach and certify instructors while evaluating training effectiveness and customer needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, education, or training plus 4 years of professional semiconductor equipment experience, or 6 years of such experience without a bachelor’s degree.
• Experience with P500, Stratus, and Apollo semiconductor equipment.
• Hands-on knowledge of installation, programming, safety, maintenance, operation, troubleshooting, and repair of semiconductor machinery.
• Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance, alignments, calibrations, analog and digital electronics, and system-level troubleshooting.
• Strong presentation, communication, problem-solving, teamwork, project management, and technical documentation skills.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally and work occasional off-shift or weekend training assignments.

Nice to have

• Instructional Design certification or experience in curriculum development and instructional design.
• Experience with e-learning, videography, photography, MS Windows applications, or computer networking.
