What you will do

• Establish and implement training design strategies that improve behavior while minimizing operational impact and expense.
• Develop and oversee clear, actionable training curricula aligned with LMS tracking, qualification accountability, regulatory requirements, and BNSF standards.
• Validate training needs, manage course maintenance, and oversee technical training deliverables including instructor-led training, web-based training, simulations, and performance support content.
• Approve design documents, storyboards, drafts, and other project milestones while ensuring quality and scope compliance.
• Manage client communication, project priorities, deadlines, budgets, RFPs, and relationships with content owners and vendors.
• Oversee the Master Instructor Program and quality control of training content.

Requirements

• 4–5 years of project management and/or vendor management experience, preferably in instructional design or performance improvement.
• Experience with instructional design, adult learning theories, and applying learning styles.
• Experience using project management software.
• Ability to travel 10–25%.
• All positions require pre-employment background verification, medical review, and a drug screen.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience creating, reviewing, and implementing training materials that support safe, consistent, and effective employee performance.
• Experience with Articulate 360, including Storyline, Rise, and Review.
• Experience with V1, Agility, or GitHub for monitoring project status and deliverables.
• Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency, with preferred experience in Power BI and Microsoft Copilot.
