TL;DR

Service Training Instructor (Technical Service Training): Delivering structured technical training for service personnel across classroom, virtual, field, and hands-on environments with an accent on equipment service processes, safety procedures, and learner performance assessment. Focus on preparing training resources, explaining electrical systems and troubleshooting practices, adapting instruction to different learners, and maintaining accurate training documentation.

Location: On-site in Troy, Ohio, United States of America; travel up to 25%; normal business hours with extended hours as needed

What you will do

Deliver established technical service training in classroom, virtual, field, and hands-on environments.
Prepare training equipment, materials, simulators, and learning aids for scheduled programs.
Facilitate technical instruction, assess trainee performance, and provide constructive feedback.
Maintain training records and documentation in accordance with defined standards and procedures.
Collaborate with internal partners and recommend improvements based on observations and learner feedback.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED plus 1–3 years of relevant experience in technical service, equipment maintenance, field service operations, training delivery, or a related industrial environment.
Knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional delivery techniques, technical service training, equipment service processes, troubleshooting, safety protocols, and operational procedures.
Basic understanding of electrical systems, schematic interpretation, training technologies, virtual learning platforms, and instructional tools.
Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to audiences with different experience levels and adapt to changing technologies, products, and training content.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.

Nice to have

Experience delivering structured training, coaching, mentoring, or technical instruction.
