ETCH iTeam Customer Engineer II (Semiconductor)

Location: Chitose, Hiroshima, Kitakami, Kumamoto, Nishi Tokyo, or Yokkaichi, Japan. Field service travel is required 75% of the time. Relocation eligible.

What you will do

• Perform Tier I procedures, preventive maintenance, and wet-cleaning on semiconductor equipment.
• Assist senior engineers with corrective maintenance and basic technical troubleshooting.
• Disassemble, clean, and rebuild kits as part of kit management and quality activities.
• Use documentation, test equipment, and basic diagnostic techniques to identify and resolve straightforward problems.
• Represent hirify.global professionally at customer sites and maintain orderly work areas.
• Follow best-known methods, intellectual property guidelines, and all safety procedures.

Requirements

• Developing skills in basic activities related to field service engineering.
• Ability to work with electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and gas systems.
• Ability to communicate professionally with customers and collaborate with senior engineers.
• Ability to perform field service work with travel required 75% of the time.
• Commitment to workplace safety and accurate execution of clearly defined procedures.
