Senior Solutions Engineer (Identity Security)

Location: Warsaw, Poland; hybrid

Annual OTE: 330,000–484,000 PLN, including base salary and incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Support customers throughout discovery, validation, proposal, and due-diligence stages of the sales journey.
• Deliver live product demonstrations and presentations for the Okta Platform and Workforce Identity solutions.
• Translate complex identity and security concepts for executives, security engineers, developers, and IT administrators.
• Partner with sales as the primary technical counterpart and design outcome-driven proof-of-concept engagements.
• Troubleshoot integration and identity federation issues while developing expertise in Okta products and protocols.
• Share customer feedback with Product Management and Engineering and occasionally represent Okta at local and regional events.

Requirements

• 5+ years of pre-sales engineering or a similar customer-facing technical role.
• Strong communication, presentation, problem-solving, and customer engagement skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, or a related field.
• Interest in identity and access management, cloud technologies, cybersecurity, Zero Trust, and enterprise systems.
• Experience troubleshooting integrations and identity federation issues; familiarity with Active Directory, HRIS, or SaaS applications.
• Fluency in Polish and English is required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of SAML, OIDC, OAuth, FIDO, SCIM, LDAP, or identity-related cybersecurity threats.
• Experience with REST APIs, Postman, Python, JavaScript, or PowerShell.
• Familiarity with AI tools and their basic operation.
• Fluency in an additional European language, especially Dutch, French, or German.
