TL;DR
Senior Sales Engineer (PostgreSQL): Supporting technical sales activities across Central and Eastern Europe through presentations, demos, proof-of-value engagements, pilots, workshops, and database expertise with an accent on PostgreSQL, relational databases, and customer-facing solution design. Focus on diagnosing platform and data challenges, tuning and debugging database systems, building deployment statements of work, and guiding partners and customers through EDB solutions.
Location: EMEA, ideally Warsaw, Poland; other locations will be considered

What you will do
- Support the sales team with technical presentations, product demonstrations, proof-of-value projects, pilots, workshops, and technical account management.
- Lead technical discussions with customers, prospects, and partners across Central and Eastern Europe.
- Apply database and platform expertise to help customers solve business problems and expand subscription and services usage.
- Work with professional services to develop statements of work for EDB solution deployments.
- Build training and enablement plans with customers and partners and provide technical support for partner engagements.
- Share product usage, performance, and competitive insights with product management and engineering.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in the database industry.
- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, EDB Postgres, or Oracle databases.
- Fluency in Polish and English is required.
- Customer-facing experience identifying database, platform, and data-related business needs.
- Strong relational database experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server, including active use or administration.
- Understanding of NoSQL and unstructured data stores, plus experience with database tuning, SQL debugging, and basic to intermediate Linux administration.
