Inventory & Receiving Specialist (Defense)

What you will do

• Receive and inspect shipments, verify quantities and documentation, and report damaged, missing, or excess materials.
• Process receipts in the ERP or inventory management system, label materials, and organize warehouse storage.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, discrepancy reconciliation, and material traceability.
• Review work orders, production schedules, and Bills of Materials to pick, verify, and kit components for manufacturing.
• Deliver production kits on schedule and reconcile returned or excess components back into inventory.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in receiving, inventory control, warehouse operations, or manufacturing support.
• Experience with inventory management or ERP systems and the ability to conduct cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Basic computer proficiency, including Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs, with strong organization, accuracy, and time-management skills.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, Green Card holder, or eligible to obtain the authorizations required under ITAR regulations.

Nice to have

• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain it.
• Experience in electronics manufacturing, regulated or hazardous materials, supply chain, or procurement workflows.
• Familiarity with FIFO, attrition, kitting to Bills of Materials, cycle counting, and inventory audits.
