Inventory Specialist (Healthcare Supply Chain)

What you will do

• Conduct area-specific inventories and keep stocked areas clean, organized, and replenished.
• Receive, sort, track, and distribute mail, packages, and supplies to the appropriate areas.
• Rotate stock, check assigned areas for expired products, and label chargeable items.
• Pick up and deliver par-leveled supplies to nursing units.
• Support annual inventory activities and enter completed par-level data into the PeopleSoft MM System.
• Adapt to changing patient volumes and priorities while supporting timely and efficient supply delivery.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of applicable work experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic computer, keyboard, data-entry, and software skills.
• Ability to read and write in English and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Attention to detail, effective communication, independent decision-making, and collaborative work skills.
• Ability to remain stationary for prolonged periods and move objects requiring up to 100 pounds of force occasionally.

Nice to have

• Experience in a hospital supply chain setting.
• Intermediate computer skills.
