What you will do

• Develop and execute disease-focused discovery strategies for respiratory, dermatologic, and rheumatologic diseases.
• Integrate human genetics, transcriptomics, proteomics, spatial biology, single-cell technologies, imaging, and clinical datasets.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives to identify and validate therapeutic targets, patient segments, and biomarker strategies.
• Generate and interpret multimodal datasets and translate findings into hypotheses for target discovery and program prioritization.
• Build collaborations with computational biology, translational sciences, human genetics, pathology, disease-area biology, academic, clinical, and technology partners.
• Mentor scientists and influence discovery programs through target validation, indication selection, biomarker identification, and patient stratification.

Requirements

• PhD, PharmD, or MD with relevant postdoctoral training and 4 years of relevant scientific experience; or a master’s degree with 7 years; or a bachelor’s degree with 9 years.
• Significant experience in academic research and biopharmaceutical drug discovery.
• Experience integrating multi-omic, imaging, clinical, and human biology data into actionable insights.
• Strong understanding of target identification, target validation, translational strategy, and preclinical development.
• Demonstrated ability to lead matrixed teams and collaborate across scientific disciplines.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence scientific strategy.

Nice to have

• High-impact publications, presentations, patents, external collaborations, or contributions to therapeutic programs.
• Experience with emerging technologies, systems immunology, AI-enabled biology, and computational analysis.
