Salary: USD 160,500–305,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead the Computational HitGen/LeadGen team and its collaboration with drug discovery partners across the organization.
• Develop computational methods and workflows for binding-affinity prediction, pharmacological-property prediction, and exploration of enumerated and AI-generated chemical spaces.
• Identify computational gaps across the small-molecule portfolio and guide solutions that support program-level decisions.
• Direct benchmarking experiments, evaluate model performance and applicability, and select approaches for project needs.
• Provide scientific leadership, mentor team members, present research strategies, and contribute to publications and conference submissions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with typically more than 18 years of related experience, master’s degree with typically more than 16 years, or PhD in science or a related field with typically 10+ years of experience.
• Knowledge and experience with modern computational approaches for drug discovery.
• Experience setting strategy and leading global teams across multiple complex research programs.
• Proven coaching, mentoring, people management, and scientific personnel development experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and data-driven decision-making skills.
• Ability to create an inclusive environment and work effectively with diverse internal and external partners.
